We are a boutique Architecture and Landscape Architecture practice that focuses on residential, retail, estate and hospitality projects. Regardless of scale, setting or budget, STUDIO DGD works to design spaces that are specifically tailored to each client’s unique needs and desires. In successfully realizing each project, the integration of a holistic approach is critical to ensuring a considered coherence between the architecture, interiors, and landscape.
Alex Gentile and Danny Grant became friends at Elementary School in Southern California. As the years went on they shared the mutual enthusiasm for art, design and the environment. After many years spent leading different design studios in the United States, the opportunity to finally collaborate and form STUDIO DGD became a reality. STUDIO DGD is based in Provence, France and Mallorca, Spain
HOW WE WORK
Our approach begins with a consultation to better understand our clients needs and challenges. From this point on, a close collaboration drives the design intent for both the interior and exterior of each project. From the initial conceptual design through construction observation we provide a comprehensive design service adapting to any size, scale or diversity of a project.

ALEX GENTILE - ARCHITECT
The son of an Argentine Millwork/Cabinet Craftsman, Alex received a Bachelor of Architecture degree at The California Polytechnic University at Pomona. His professional career encompasses many facets of the practice, including Model Building, Interior Architecture, Construction Management, Hotel Design and Planning.
He has worked at many Award Winning Architecture Offices such as Frank O. Gehry, DMJM LA, Jacques + Marquez Architecture and Mulvanny G2 Architecture.
Alex brings innovation to design while at the same time being a leader of new technologies and building techniques. He strives for collaboration on projects to share ideas and makes even the simplest projects the best they can be within the constraints set for city codes and owner budgets.
DANNY GRANT - LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT
Danny’s educational background consists of an Environmental Science/Art Design Degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara, Architecture Study from Universidad de Pais Vasco and a Masters of Landscape Architecture degree from North Carolina State University. His greatest education was spent traveling abroad where culture, art and the natural environment made a lasting impression.
With over 23 years in the profession, diverse clients and portfolio of internationally recognized Boutique Hotel, Resort, and Estate/Residential Projects, Danny settled in Europe to pursue new challenging projects.
Danny believes in working intelligently, taking in the details and being surrounded by talented, driven individuals who share a similar appreciation with the design process.
